This Volumizing Dry Shampoo is a non-aerosol dry shampoo powder that absorbs oils and impurities while providing volume, for use Anywhere, Anytime, Anyplace (A3). Formulated with TEGO® Pep 3-Boost, a powerful peptide that promotes a healthy hair life cycle.

Ingredient Highlight

• TEGO® Pep 3-Boost (Copper Tripeptide-34) – a carrier peptide with naturally occurring amino acids and an adjoining copper. This well-known peptide promotes a healthy hair life cycle, strengthening of the hair follicle and improvement to scalp health. Benefits include an increase in the proliferation of dermal papilla cells (DPCs), reduction of apoptosis in DPCs, elongation of hair follicles, improvement of scalp health and hair quality, rebalancing of the life cycle of the hair, and support for aging hair
• TEGO® Natural Betaine (Betaine) – a natural amino acid derivative (trimethylglycin) from sugar beets. Due to its structure, it shows strong water binding capacity which ensures retention of skin moisture
• AGENAFLO 9050 (Corn Starch Modified) –  a hydrophobically modified, waxy corn starch that is an aluminum-free alternative to aluminum starch octenylsuccinate. This ingredient absorbs excess moisture and sebum without whitening and reduces formulation tackiness and greasiness while giving skin a velvety appearance. It is commonly used in dry shampoo, lotions, cream, sunscreen, deodorant, and mineral cosmetic formulations
• AEROSIL® R 812 S (Silica Silylate) – a fumed silica has many applications in hair care products, particularly Dry Shampoo, providing an easy alternative to time-consuming wet washing and drying. Combined with other powder ingredients, AEROSIL® provides a volumizing effect to styling aids
• TEGO® Cosmo C 100 (Creatine) – an amino acid derivative identical to the natural creatine occurring in the skin. It has revitalizing properties and supports the protection of the skin. TEGO® Cosmo C 100 improves the mechanical properties of stressed hair and protects it against heat damage by rebuilding and strengthening the hair structure from within

How to Use: Spray directly onto roots, massage through scalp and hair, and brush through to remove any excess. 

Procedure for High-Key A3 Dry Shampoo

1. Premix Phase A and B in separate vessels. If necessary, adjust the pH of Phase A to 5.0-6.0 with citric acid solution.
2. Add Phase A ingredients to Phase B ingredients while mixing moderately.
3. Mix until a uniform particle size is achieved using rotor stator system or high shear mixer.
4. Break up any agglomerates to ensure an even mix.
