Biochemica® Pomegranate Butter Organic is a certified organic “butter” that combines organically grown pomegranate fruit with a proprietary blend of other USDA-NOP certified organic ingredients to form a skin nourishing, soft and spreadable version of the fruit in anhydrous form. This super fruit butter contains lyophilized (freeze-dried), certified organic whole pomegranate arils (fruit-like seed coverings) which are micronized into a fine particle dispersion.
Free radicals can damage skin cell membranes and DNA through a process known as oxidative stress and are blamed for many of the dysfunctions and diseases associated with skin aging. Biochemica® organic certified super fruit butters not only offer a high level of moisturization but may also aid in cellular regeneration, free radical scavenging and (with pomegranate, containing some of the highest levels of antioxidants found in nature) may also aid in the reduction of fine lines and wrinkles by increasing collagen synthesis.
