Hydroglycolic Nature-Based Deodorant Stick Base
This simple unfragranced deodorant stick base yields translucent sticks with good application and wear properties. Vegetal-derived Propanediol allows twice the amount of water used in traditional Propylene Glycol-based sticks, and also allows a reduced level of Sodium Stearate to produce the same stick melt point. Spectrasolv® DMDA (Dimethyl Capramide) markedly improves stick clarity.

PREPARATIVE PROCEDURE
| 1 | To the main vessel, with appropriate mixing and handling capabilities, add phase A, start mixing and begin heating to 80°C. |
| 2 | Above 70°C, to prevent clumping, slowly add phase B. |
| 3 | When the batch is crystal clear and completely free of undissolved phase B, add phase C items in order. |
| 4 | When homogeneous, commence very slow cooling with strong mixing without aeration (to prevent set up of the product on the vessel walls). |
| 5 | Fill product when approximately 5°C above its melt point. |
