This formulation is for a Mild Foaming Lotion for Babies. The emulsion will separate into two layers with time – this process is easily reversed by shaking before use. This does not effect the the product’s performance.

PROCEDURE:
- Heat phase A and B separately to approx. 80ºC.
- Add phase A to phase B with stirring.
- Homogenize.
- Cool with gentle stirring to approx. 60ºC and add phase C.
- Homogenize for a short time.
- Cool with gentle stirring and add phase D below 40ºC.
- Mix phase E with F until it is clear, add it to the emulsion with gentle stirring.
- Important: if phase A has to be charged into the vessel first, phase B must be added without stirring.
