Glenn Corporation welcomes Gina Cosby to the position of Market Development Manager for the Personal Care and HI&I markets, effective July 29th 2013.
In this capacity, she will be responsible for the implementation of strategic programs to foster further market penetration in these core markets, including product portfolio diversification initiatives, and opportunity development management. In this role, she will also serve as the technical liaison between the organization and its suppliers’ R&D centers, and will be responsible for the continuous advancement of the exceptional technical capabilities of the sales force.
Cosby has extensive formulation and technical experience at both the lab and customer levels. She has worked as Product Development Chemist at McIntyre Group, and most recently, as Sr. Technical Service Scientist at Solvay Novecare, HPC.
She has a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with ACS accreditation from Purdue University Calumet. She is currently the Secretary of the Society of Cosmetic Chemists Midwest Chapter; and has been the co-author of several technical studies and articles, the most recent being “The Value of Sultaines”, preceded by “Pigment Wetting Efficacy of Novel Branched-Chain Esters for Skin Treatment and Color Cosmetic Applications.”
