Lift and lengthen your lashes with this Voluminizing Mascara with AEROSIL® 200!
The formulation features AEROSIL® 200 which is a hydrophilic fumed silica with a specific surface area of 200 m2/g. It is a rheology modifier and stabilizer for a voluminous look.

Procedure for Voluminizing Mascara with AEROSIL® 200
- Combine the ingredients TEGOSOFT® PSE 141 G through adipic acid of phase 1
- Heat to 85–90°C to melt the waxes
- Add and disperse diethylene glycol glycerin crosspolymer iron oxide
- Add and disperse acrylates/octylacrylamide copolymer in cold water, butylene glycol and triethanolamine
- Heat while stirring to 85°C, stir until acrylates/octylacrylamide copolymer is completely dissolved
- Add phase 2 to phase 1 while stirring, stir for 10 min
- Cool to 40°C while stirring and add phase 3, stir for 5 min
- Cool to 30–32°C
- Homogenize
- Viscosity may be adjusted with AEROSIL® 200
