Iscaguard MIT is a safe, broad spectrum bactericide for the preservation of rinse-off products. Iscaguard MIT is a particularly suitable as a replacement for formaldehyde donors like products commonly used in Zinc pyrithione-based anti-dandruff shampoos, high pH surfactant systems and high pH liquid cleaners. Iscaguard MIT provides formulators with a non-formaldehyde-releasing bactericidal solution which is effective at very low use levels. Iscaguard MIT is also compatible with existing fungicides like parabens and is more stable in difficult to preserve high pH formulations.
