Versagel ML grades are gelled hydrocarbons, based on C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate, a popular ester for a variety of personal care, sun care, and OTC skin care products. Visually appealing, odorless and do not discolor with age. They are easier and safer to handle and formulate than gels that use metal stearates or fumed silica. They provide fragrance retention in skin care products and furnish waterproofing properties to sunscreen products. Furthermore, they are hydrophobic, thermally reversible and without syneresis (oil bleed).

These gels not only have positive attributes of the emollient ester such as dry feel, superior solubility, and good wetting ability, but they also have excellent suspension capabilities, improved moisturization and occlusivity, and good film-foaming properties.Versagel ML is available in the following grades:

  • Versagel ML 750 (Preserved with BHT)
  • Versagel ML 750 T (Preserved with Tinogard TT)
  • Versage ML 1600 (Preserved with BHT)
