Hair & Scalp Serum is a haircare emulsion formulated with natural products and active ingredients focused on dandruff prevention, skin barrier & hair strengthening, and hair conditioning. It improves scalp health by reducing dryness, itchiness, and redness.

dermofeel® PA-12 (Sodium Phytate)

dermofeel® PA-12 is a natural chelating agent and serves as a natural alternative to EDTA. This material is fully neutralized and has a pH of ~12. It acts synergistically in combination with cosmetic antioxidants.

Hairflux® (Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil; Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil; Ceramide NG)

Hairflux® is a bio-inspired Hair and Scalp Care ingredient, combining relevant Sphinganine-based Ceramides and natural oils to achieve mild and well tolerated efficacy. Hairflux® is the best-in-class multifunctional olive-based Ceramide, for the care of both hair and scalp, with proven efficacy on different types of damaged hair and affected scalp.

TEGO® Feel C 10 (Cellulose)

TEGO® Feel C 10 is a 100 % natural cellulose fiber sourced from sustainable European forestry. It shows superior absorption properties for cosmetic oils and human sebum and provides the skin with a matte appearance. It can be incorporated into skin care emulsions, but also powders. With a rising focus on sustainable ingredients, it is a perfect alternative for microplastics in leave-on applications.

How to use: Apply product to hands then apply to hair, focusing on the roots and the scalp.

Manufacturing Instructions

1. Heat Phase A up to 78°C under medium stirring. Disperse Phase A1.
2. Add Phase B1 to a separate vessel and heat up to 90°C until a clear solution is obtained.
3. In a separate vessel, heat Phase B up to 78°C.
4. Add ingredients of Phase B1 to Phase B and heat up to 78°C.
5. Emulsify Phase B/B1 into Phase A/A1 under stirring.
6. Homogenize
7. Start to cool down fast under medium stirring.
8. Add Phase C below 40°C and cool down to room temperature.
9. Adjust pH value to 5.0 – 5.5 carefully with high diluted citric acid.
