Description
MACKAM® 1200 Powder is an 85% powdered form of the popular amphoteric surfactant, Lauramidopropyl Betaine. MACKAM® 1200 Powder is compatible with anionic, nonionic and cationic surfactants, and exhibits high foaming even in high electrolyte solutions. In personal care products, MACKAM® 1200 Powder shows a marked viscosity improvement along with enhanced flash foam when compared to Cocamidopropyl Betaine. It is excellent for use in bath & shampoo bars due to its mildness, lime soap dispersing properties and in liquids for its viscosity building characteristics. MACKAM® 1200 Powder can also be used in oral products such as toothpaste and mouthwash and is also ideal in applications where very low water content is required, for example in formulations for water soluble sachets.
