Description

SIPERNAT® 22 PC is hydrated silica, that combines a high absorption capacity together with good flowability. It is our basic recommendation as carrier silica for converting any kind of liquid into free-flowing powders.

As hydrated silica with particles in the range of 120 µm, SIPERNAT® 22 PC is the eco-friendly solution for the replacement of polyethylene beads in exfoliating skin care formulations like shower gels and facial cleansers. Besides its scrubbing effect, its microsponge structure can also transport liquid ingredients into the cosmetic formulation. Microbiological quality is guaranteed via stringent regular monitoring.

Specialty Silica is fine, loose powders that are also available in granule form for specific applications. The particles are amorphous, posing no risk in their application. The chemical composition of performance silica is approximately 99 percent silicon dioxide (SiO2). Due to the large bandwidth of physicochemical data precipitated performance silica possess varied properties that facilitate manufacturing processes and increase both the quality and performance of end-products.
